Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By using Meridix, you agree to these terms. Meridix is provided by Tech Tap Solutions. "Service" refers to all Meridix products including the email platform, API, admin console, AI features, and MCP integrations.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. Organization administrators are responsible for managing users within their organization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam)
  • Transmit malware, phishing, or fraudulent content
  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, quotas, or security measures
  • Resell the service without authorization
  • Interfere with other users' access to the service

Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

4. Billing

Meridix uses per-user pricing. You are billed monthly based on the number of active user seats in your organization. Email volume beyond your plan's included quota is billed at the overage rate for your tier. Shared inbox and AI inbox add-ons are billed separately. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all email content, contacts, and data you store in Meridix. We process your data solely to provide the service (delivery, security scanning, AI features). We do not sell your data. We do not use your email content to train AI models.

6. AI Features

Meridix includes AI-powered features such as email classification, summarization, and auto-responses. These features:

  • May produce inaccurate or incomplete results
  • Should not be relied upon for legal, medical, or financial advice
  • Can be disabled per-user via the AI Privacy toggle in Settings
  • Process email content through third-party AI providers (see AI Disclosure)

7. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits and usage quotas defined by your plan. We reserve the right to throttle or suspend API access that negatively impacts service quality for other users.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless a longer retention period is required by your organization's compliance hold. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech Tap Solutions' total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Fairfax County, Virginia.
